First Type of Leech 5 Types of Human Leeches to Break Free From
THE SCHEMER
The bible is very clear about a liar and a schemer. Basically, both sins go hand and hand. A schemer is a person who is involved in making secret or underhanded plans. The scripture reads in verses: Psalm 101:7: He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. A schemer is one who lies so that he can set traps for your feet to gain personal expectations for his own benefit. Gen. 25:29 Now Jacob cooked some stew, and when Esau came in from the open fields, he was famished. 25:30 So Esau said to Jacob, “Feed me some of the red stuff – yes, this red stuff – because I’m starving!” (That is why he was also called Edom.) Gen. 25:31: But Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.” 25:32 “Look,” said Esau, “I’m about to die! What use is the birthright to me?” Gen. 25:33 But Jacob said, “Swear an oath to me now.” So, Esau swore an oath to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. Gen. 25:34: Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and lentil stew; Esau ate and drank, then got up and went out. So, Esau despised his birthright. You have to watch your back with a schemer.
No matter how smart, business savvy, or anointed you think you are. Only God can watch your back best by following His lead. Not only is a schemer a liar, he is also a thief and deceiver. He will go so far to still your birthright and when that’s not enough he will even attempt to find a way to steal your generational blessings. Jacob Steals Esau’s Blessing Gen 27: One day when Isaac was old and turning blind, he called for Esau, his older son, and said, “My son.” (Continue reading the whole chapter) Although, Jacob was fully aware of what he was doing to his father and brother. By him being a schemer and thief, he only had one thing in mind. Take your blessing because it belongs to me.
The bible makes it clear that his mother was behind the scheme. But at any moment, he could have changed his mind. And if they can’t do alone, they will have others help them. II Corinthians 4:18 reads for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Jacob spent part of his early life being a schemer. But he changed after God got a hand on his life at the place called Bethel. Jacob dreamt of seeing angels and God, and which he therefore named Bethel, “House of God”. Although, the 12 Tribes of Israel was in the loins of Jacob. So were the spirit of the schemer until God got a hold on his life. Sometimes saints get saved but they still need deliverance while attending their local church.
Are you wrestling and struggling with past hang-ups and habits that prevent you from walking into your destiny? Do you need deliverance from unforgiveness and the schemer who knows how to creep into your life without your planned permission? Today, you can submit yourself totally to God so He can be the keeper of your soul. Allow Jesus to be more than just Savior in your life. Allow Jesus to be Lord. Savior means he saved you from all your sins. But Lord means obeying God.
Finally, your greatest blessings will appear the day you become willing to give your all, become delivered and render your life with all your heart, soul and spirit unto Christ.
Quote – “Esau wanted to feed his belly more than he wanted to protect his birthright. What shall it profit a man to achieve worldly gains only to lose his Godly inheritance”?
Prayer: Dear lord, help me to be wise through the lens of your word not the desire of my flesh. Keep me safe in your hands and allow me to see the danger before it takes over me. In Jesus name. Amen
