No Quick Fix…Wait On The Lord!
Deep wounds and hurts can make you feel powerless. Although in that moment, it’s your reality but if you believe and wait on the lord…This too shall pass!
Patience:
The word “patience” comes from the word hupomene, which is a compound of the words hupo and meno. The word hupo at the beginning means under, and meno means to stay or to remain. When you put these two words together, the Greek word means endurance or to stay under.
Ask yourself this question: Why is having patience important to God?
Because it takes time to heal; however long of a time you’ve been wounded. It may take a minute or two before you can figure out how to get out of trouble and be healed so God can make you whole. Because there is no quick fix!
This requires us to be patient so we can get our confidence and power back. Just when we are focused on the word of God. The anointing will start moving in you so you can believe God for your miracle. Somethings the word will do and other times we need prayer at the altar. But most of all when we wait on the lord…
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
Meanwhile, God is with you and working on you the entire time.
Wisdom Tip:
While you work on yourself and study your bible the voice of God will give you peace.
Another way of looking at patience in the bible is the ability to endure difficult people and situations without giving into anger or giving up hope. Because God continues to teach us patience when we experience disappointment so that we can teach others. Because there is no quick fix!
David had to have patience with Abigails husband Nabor or he would have lost his temper and killed someone God already had Nabor on schedule for Godly judgement. (I Samuel 25)
Quote: When people give you a hard time and interferes with you completing your assignment on God’s time. If they are still in the way after you have done everything to do God’s will. Let God do the rest. God knows how to deal with your enemies far better than you.
Ask Yourself This Question: Am I believing God or believing false teachers?
The church of Galatia was bewitched by false teachers who crept into the church. Paul was trying to teach them that just because their message sounds like God doesn’t mean they are of God. This is why it’s important to stay close to the Holy Spirit so that when the devil sends false teachers you will be able to discern the truth over evil.
Signs: Let’s do the math—If you resist the Holy Spirit when He sends truth your way by a whisper in your spirit or when He sends a God sent person who is consecrated and knows the voice of God.
- Do you allow your opinion to get in the way?
- Do allow false teachers to get in the way?
- Do you trust God or others more?
Silence yourself and pray until you know in your heart that you are hearing the voice of God and then voluntarily yield to Him.
Question: How did you become so impatient?
God wants to protect you from the enemy, but He also want to protect you from your lower nature. But you have to work with Him to achieve good results because your lower nature always has short cuts to problems you can’t fix. But if God does all the work, then you’re not using your faith. Because there is no quick fix!
Psalm 105:15 – Do not touch my anointed and do my prophets no harm.
But again, it takes time to heal and win your confidence back. Meanwhile, God is with you and working on you the entire time when you give the situation to Him. Some of us have been in battle so long and forgot who we are in Christ because we allow people to make us feel so fed up with their mess that we sometimes forget to stay focused. But God expects us to demonstrate faith and commitment.
Quote: The enemy wants ”(You to be all in)” on fighting and arguing and thinking about the way people treat you. So, you not all in on what God is doing in you. When you are all in this is what happens….
- Believe it or not you never been this wise,
- Believe it or not you never been this strong
- Believe it or not you never been this confident and calm in your entire life because the lord has matured you, gave you his word, increased your faith and poured peace all over your soul because everything is going to be alright when you are all in.
Exodus 14:13 — And Moses said unto the people, “Fear ye not. Standstill, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show to you today.
Quote: If you want a quick fix the road is broad not narrow. But if you desire total deliverance just wait on the lord.
God bless you my friend and remember God is fighting for you to be wise, be strong and have peace but you must fight the good fight of faith. (I Timothy 6:12)
Prayer: Help me lord Jesus not to be deceived by the enemy or be deceived by my flesh. Help me to keep my garments holy and my heart pure so that the Holy Spirit can fill me again with peace and understanding to overcome anything that comes my way. In Jesus name. Amen
